PROCUREMENT AGENT

Key Functions

• Manage purchasing activities
• Maintain accurate inventory and product records
• Oversee serialized asset tracking
• Cook product recalls, and help ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and continuous process improvements.
• Build strong vendor relationships
• Negotiate favorable pricing
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure all purchasing and inventory activities meet quality, regulatory, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• 2-year degree required; 4-year degree preferred
• Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management in a healthcare or medical equipment environment
• Knowledge of medical equipment, HCPCS coding, and insurance billing processes
• Proficiency with inventory management software, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, and Office 365
• Strong leadership abilities
• Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
• Able to successfully collaborate across all departments and maintain vendor relationships
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
