PROCUREMENT AGENT
Key Functions
- Manage purchasing activities
- Maintain accurate inventory and product records
- Oversee serialized asset tracking
- Cook product recalls, and help ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and continuous process improvements.
- Build strong vendor relationships
- Negotiate favorable pricing
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure all purchasing and inventory activities meet quality, regulatory, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- 2-year degree required; 4-year degree preferred
- Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management in a healthcare or medical equipment environment
- Knowledge of medical equipment, HCPCS coding, and insurance billing processes
- Proficiency with inventory management software, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, and Office 365
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
- Able to successfully collaborate across all departments and maintain vendor relationships
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
