Processor Technician PPP NA

Area of responsibility

Overall responsible for all activities within PPP NA (Gx Berlin, Ohio)

The primary focus of this position will be to perform mold shop activities on the equipment in Building 7 – PPP NA.

Must be willing to travel intermittently to learn about PPP specific equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar type of position working in the Plastics Industry, Automotive and/or Pharma Packing Industry
• High School diploma is preferred and college degree beneficial but not necessary
• Extensive knowledge of injection molding process/technologies and theory
• Understand function of various mold components such as cooling systems, hot runner systems, ejector systems, gating systems, wiring systems, and unscrewing systems
• Extensive background in the principles of operation for multiple cavity injection molds
• Understanding of process troubleshooting concepts
• Capable of performing mold changes
• Possesses well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Possesses/acquires mobile equipment license
• Ability to read and understand mold drawings
• Maintains positive team environment
• Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Possesses good math skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment

Salary Range

$33.10 - 33.70
