Processing Operator I
About the role
We are seeking a Processing Operator to join our Production team. This position is essential for supporting daily production activities on the processing floor.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform changeovers, routine maintenance, and cleaning according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Guide and coordinate operations team activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and production targets are met
- Maintain smooth production flow and promptly report equipment or process issues to minimize downtime
- Conduct in-process checks, complete accurate documentation, including production records, digital entries, and deviation reports, and report any non-conformances
- Collaborate with Maintenance to address equipment concerns, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime
- Participate in investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Recommend process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis
- Exhibit professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflect positively on the company and align with our cultural values
Requirements
- One (1) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated or food/GMP environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to support and assist peers in completing tasks accurately and efficiently
- Ability to understand how machines work and recognize when something isn’t functioning properly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Willingness to learn new processes, adjust to changes, and take on varied tasks as needed
- Understanding of workplace safety practices and ability to follow procedures to prevent accidents
- Basic computer proficiency; including experience with data entry, digital forms, or manufacturing software systems
- Solid mathematical skills, with the ability to perform basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and understand measurements, weights, and unit conversions
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, SOPs and technical documents with accuracy
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively and staying organized under pressure

- Constant requirement to stand, walk, climb, push, pull, reach, carry, and lift and twist
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Requires frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, twisting, seeing, hearing, talking, using hands to type, handle or feel tools, controls, using hands and arms to reach, hold and carry tools or items
Skills

Pay
Hourly pay: $22.00
Schedule
Multiple available:
- MON 2nd (Mon-Fri 2:45PM - 11:15PM, $.90 Shift Diff)
- 3rd (Mon- Fri 10:45PM - 7;15AM, $1.00 Shift Diff)
- Rotating 12-hour shifts: 2, 2, 3 schedule rotation - Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM / Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM ($1.00 diff)
Environment

OFD contains office, manufacturing and outdoor workspaces where this position is required to access and work.
