About the role

Drives total processing center results and sales growth in supported stores by owning and leading the product lifecycle from shipment receipt to product being delivered to stores floor-ready. Ensures maximum productivity, profitability, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsible for total operations of the processing center solution supporting multiple store locations. Grows and develops the group leads and processors to deliver individual and team success. Models, advocates, and coaches peers and associates to consistently demonstrate the company’s values.

Responsibilities

  • Fosters an open, supportive environment where associates feel connected and our values are displayed
  • Spends time on the floor to ensure appropriate knowledge of the work being supervised
  • Devotes consistent time and energy to establishing and maintaining relationships with associates and peers
  • Recognizes the contributions of others through direct feedback and various recognition programs
  • Conducts associate observations and provides coaching and feedback focusing on time utilization, methods, pace, and SOPs that drive learning and performance
  • Solicits and is open to feedback from associates
  • Seeks to understand associates’ professional goals and provides development opportunities as appropriate
  • Conducts bi-monthly Performance Reviews with associates and group leads to assess progress on action plans and determine next steps
  • Owns and is accountable for following the corrective action process when necessary
  • Accountable for the development of associates’ product knowledge to enable increased efficiency
  • Owns talent management lifecycle of direct reports including onboarding, assessment, retention, career development, succession planning, and recognition
  • Partners with direct manager to establish clear performance goals and objectives for direct reports
  • Acts as a positive change leader
  • Supports optimization of labor schedule by ensuring appropriate associate skills and availability
  • Ensures payroll is managed daily by punch guarding and executing flex worksheet
  • Works with associates to resolve issues such as pay, time off requests, etc., leveraging HR Direct and Human Resources partners
  • Understands business/departmental objectives; develops, adjusts, and executes appropriate plans to achieve desired results
  • Ensures their team has the resources and tools needed to perform their job successfully
  • Has a working knowledge of the processes and procedures in their department to problem solve and make effective decisions
  • Seeks to improve processes and methods and identify new opportunities for innovation and cost reduction
  • Hindsights and applies past experiences to improve future performance
  • Builds collaborative partnerships with peers enabling knowledge and best practice sharing
  • Leverages tools and reports to ensure the processing workload is completed efficiently following Merch Flow processes
  • Leads physical inventory inclusive of scheduling, planning, and follow-up
  • Sets expectations to brand standards to ensure brand consistency that impacts overall business results
  • Supports and collaborates with store teams on planning of floor-set activities and assists in executing inventory movement to store in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with store teams to identify opportunities to streamline merchandise flow activities including processing, replenishment, and recovery through analysis
  • Provides feedback and direction on strategies to improve operating efficiencies
  • Owns housekeeping and maintenance of processing center
  • Manages all activities related to providing a safe working environment
  • Fosters a culture of honesty and connects the link between associate engagement and shrink

Pay

Minimum Salary: $77,800.00. Maximum Salary: $102,165.00. VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by factors including your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
