Process Technology Director

About the role

Your Job Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking a Process Technology Director to advance our Urea/UAN technology and operational performance across our manufacturing network. In this highly collaborative role, you will apply technical knowledge to solve complex plant challenges, contribute and/or initiate strategic projects, and identify opportunities that create long-term value. This position will ideally be located and/or relocate to our Wichita, KS office location or one of our operation facilities across the fleet.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for urea / UAN technology across KAES.
• Partner with plant teams to optimize operations and resolve significant technical and operational challenges.
• Initiate, contribute and support technology projects across urea / UAN plants that improve long-term operational performance and create sustainable value.
• Identify and advance growth projects with teams across KAES business groups.
• Partner with engineering contractors to develop, evaluate, and validate technical solutions and alternatives.
• Build relationships with external companies and industry experts to acquire knowledge and identify new opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience with UREA/UAN manufacturing, operations, technology, or processes.
• Willing and able to regularly travel domestically to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with process optimization, process engineering, process technology or production support.
• Demonstrated examples of implemented substantial improvements either directly in plant processes or via capital projects.
• Experience supporting capital projects, turnarounds, or plant startups.
