About the role

As a process technician in one of our clean rooms, you will perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Once the product is on the line, you will monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators. You will also test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.

You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical tests and experiments in wafer fabrication.
  • Monitor, audit, and guide line operators during production.
  • Test new products and assist process development and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing groups to resolve issues.
  • Provide process and product support, addressing production concerns.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule, including one weekend shift and holidays.
  • Flexible to work day or night shift.
  • One of the following:
    • Technical Certificate or Associate’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, Chemistry, Mechatronics, or a related field.
    • 3 years of experience processing wafers in a semiconductor manufacturing environment in an advanced manufacturing role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to identify, multi-task, and resolve multiple priority issues quickly and efficiently to improve overall fab performance.
  • Ability to learn and understand process flow quickly and support the engineering organization as needed.
  • Outstanding organizational, teaming, and troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong collaborative skills in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
