Process Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Leading/Supporting the process, product and materials trials on converting equipment
• Setting up and grade change equipment
• Troubleshooting processes and performing basic repairs as needed
• Working safely, fostering teamwork, and demonstrating leadership
• Having a willingness to learn the operation of multiple assets, processes, and equipment within the facility
• Effectively communicating with peers and team leaders
• Performing equipment installation, maintenance, setup, and fabrication to support trials and ongoing asset improvements
• Training others and facilitating troubleshooting sessions

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant technical experience
• Knowledge of operating high-speed converting equipment, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft® Office Word and Excel
• Effective priority setting, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leading operating crews
• Secondary skills associated with millwright, electrical, or IT
• Basic working knowledge of the Lean principles
• Formal Machine shop or Maintenance/Mechanical Trades knowledge
• Demonstrated problem-solving capability, including managing multiple issues simultaneously and navigating day-to-day operational complexity
