About the Role
The Process Technician plays a key role in safely manufacturing, handling, and loading lime slurry products while supporting plant operations, equipment performance, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload lime slurry and pneumatic tanker products for customer shipments.
- Wash, inspect, and prepare liquid tankers for loading operations.
- Operate plant machinery, mobile equipment, and production systems.
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Support equipment maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects.
- Initiate maintenance requests and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and comply with all safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to maximize plant efficiency, production, and reliability.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work overtime, holidays, and respond to call-ins as plant operations require.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work comfortably at heights.
- Ability to perform general maintenance activities and operate industrial equipment safely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience backing and maneuvering trailers.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of an empowered team.
- Commitment to workplace safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
