Process Technician

Location: Hanover Park, IL Pay Rate:$23-$42/HR Schedule: Mon-Fri, 12 Hour Shift Job Type: Contract About The Opportunity Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Test Technician to join our client's electronics manufacturing team. This position will focus on troubleshooting electronic assemblies, performing ICT/FVT testing, analyzing production failures, and supporting test engineering processes to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics troubleshooting, PCB/PCBA testing, and automated test equipment within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electronic circuit boards and assemblies using ICT and FVT testing methods.Analyze production yield reports to identify recurring failures, equipment issues, and opportunities for improvement.Troubleshoot automated electronic test equipment, fixtures, and test probes.Identify root causes of test failures and recommend corrective actions.Support Test Engineers with preventive maintenance programs and test process improvements.Perform New Product Introduction (NPI) test evaluations and product verification.Monitor equipment downtime and assist with preventive maintenance scheduling.Set up and operate electronic test equipment for programming and verification testing.Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve production yields and minimize downtime.Maintain accurate test documentation, production logs, and quality records.Ensure testing procedures comply with established quality and safety standards. Qualifications Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience.5–10 years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing.Hands-on experience with ICT (In-Circuit Testing) and/or FVT (Functional Verification Testing).Experience troubleshooting PCB/PCBA assemblies and electronic components.Knowledge of automated electronic test equipment and manufacturing test processes.Ability to analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis.Experience with preventive maintenance and production yield improvements.Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and testing procedures.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering and production teams. #PROTEMP Benefits: Eastridge Workforce Solutions offers the following benefits, subject to applicable eligibility requirements .
