Overview

Overviews
The Process Supervisor will direct all activities of the entire refining process of cane sugar including the receipt of liquid materials, ensuring quality standards are met through the efficient use of energy (fuel and steam), water, air, and electric power.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintains standard production rates while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards
- Led assigned teams in the continuous improvement process
- Achieves results through subordinates in a unionized environment
Work Experiences
- Five years of experience in a chemical processing, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing plant as a process/production supervisor or related experience
- Previous experience supervising union personnel
- Experience with and demonstrated success in leading operational excellence/continuous improvement efforts
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred in an engineering, science, or business related field
- Concentration in chemical engineering, physics, or related science field is preferred
Supervisory Responsibility
Responsible for the supervision of union hourly employees

- Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Proficiency with SAP is preferred
