Process Quality Engineer
About the role
This role involves process engineering within the manufacturing process. Influences the quality of your own work and the work of others in the team.
Responsibilities
- Define and control production processes, including tools and equipment.
- Validate design specifications and apply new products, tools, or equipment in the workshop.
- Expand technical knowledge to implement policies and strategies.
- May include support roles with specialized technical knowledge; continuously acquire knowledge and skills at higher levels.
- Have a basic understanding of key business drivers; use this understanding to perform your own work.
- Understand how your own team's work integrates into other teams and contributes to the area.
- Have some autonomy to make decisions within defined parameters.
- Solve problems in situations where good technical knowledge and judgment are required within established procedures.
- Consult senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- Develop strong customer relationships and serve as a liaison between customers and GE Vernova.
- Explain technical information to others.
Requirements
This role requires fundamental experience. The knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or an equivalent with relevant experience).
Qualifications
Desired qualities include very good verbal and written communication skills, strong social skills and leadership qualities, ability to work independently, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to have some autonomy to make decisions within defined parameters.

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $76,300.00 and $114,400.00.
