About the role
Cargill is seeking a production role within their Food Enterprise division. This position serves food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a variety of ingredients and branded products. The role involves working in an 8-hour fixed shift (10:00pm - 06:30am) with the possibility of overtime, including Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Remove or induct full pallets from the warehouse system when needed.
- Supply lines with pallets, boxes, caps, labels, and other materials.
- Learn and understand the production schedule, issue material for production and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Safely operate mobile powered equipment (MPE).
- Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork-focused environment.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
- Must be able to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
- Must be able to work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience.
- Experience in production and/or similar military environment considered.
Skills
- Understanding of safety policies and procedures.
- Physical strength and endurance for manual labor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for job-related tasks.

Pay
$25.95/h after training ($24.95/h during training).
Schedule
8-hour fixed shift (10:00pm - 06:30am), with availability for overtime when needed (including Saturdays, eventually).
