About the role
As a Process Operator at Kraft Heinz, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality food products. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product quality and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot minor equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document production data, including batch records, equipment logs, and quality checks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety training and drills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in manufacturing, food science, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or food processing environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production equipment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety and quality standards.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
