Process Operations Technician III - Dip Braze

About the role

The Process Operations Technician III combines fabrication skills and the use of composite materials to manufacture assemblies. Responsibilities include working from process routing cards and detailed procedures, or verbal instructions to manufacture a variety of products, using tooling/fixturing for alignment and processing during the manufacturing process, setting up and operating various types of equipment, mixing materials, applying, curing, and sanding filler materials, and cutting material to size.

Responsibilities

• Work from process routing cards and detailed procedures, or verbal instructions to manufacture a variety of products
• Use tooling/fixturing for alignment and processing during the manufacturing process
• Set up and operate various types of equipment while maintaining a safe environment, including but not limited to: ovens, coating and plating baths, alignment and measuring equipment, exhaust hoods and sanding tables and others as required
• Mix materials such as resins, catalysts and fillers according to process instructions
• Apply, cure and sand filler materials used to remove pin-holes and smooth imperfections in preparation for painting process
• Cut material to size, using shears, knives, cutters, scissors, router, or saw

Requirements

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in area of responsibility.
