About the role
The Process Operations Technician II combines fabrication skills and the use of composite materials to manufacture assemblies. This position supports Dip Room operations.
Responsibilities
- Work from process routing cards and detailed procedures, or verbal instructions to manufacture a variety of products
- Use tooling/fixturing for alignment and processing during the manufacturing process
- Set up and operate various types of equipment while maintaining a safe environment, including but not limited to: ovens, coating and plating baths, alignment and measuring equipment, exhaust hoods and sanding tables and others as required
- Mix materials such as resins, catalysts and fillers according to process instructions
- Apply, cure and sand filler materials used to remove pin-holes and smooth imperfections in preparation for painting process
- Cut material to size, using shears, knives, cutters, scissors, router, or saw
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in area of responsibility

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Basic knowledge of composite materials and their applications
