Mission
- Perform chemical processing activities to support aerospace manufacturing requirements.
- Conduct painting, metal etching, metal polishing, heat treating, engraving, shot peening, sandblasting, wire assembly/fabrication, decal application, metalcal application, and other metal processing operations.
- Set up, support, and produce high-quality products in accordance with engineering, quality, and production requirements.
- Set up and test electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assemblies and components.
- Perform spray and brush priming operations.
- Complete hand-finishing activities, including blending adjacent surfaces to engineering tolerances and performing transition work on aircraft components.
- Operate chemical processing tanks and related equipment to support selective metal removal, surface preparation, and coating processes.
- Prepare and maintain treating solutions by adding chemical compounds according to laboratory specifications and process requirements.
- Develop and maintain proper equipment setups, including processing time, voltage, amperage, and block-off configurations.
- Perform laser scribe operations in accordance with engineering and manufacturing requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, technique sheets, work orders, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Utilize precision measuring equipment, including calipers, scales, and electronic measurement tools, to verify dimensions and quality standards.
- Perform first article inspections and in-process inspections of fabricated parts and assemblies.
- Document and report non-conforming conditions according to company procedures.
- Complete Factory Data Acquisition (FDAQ) requirements and maintain accurate production records.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and equipment, including filter replacement and lubrication checks.
- Move products and materials throughout the manufacturing area using approved equipment and procedures.
- Maintain required certifications, qualifications, licenses, and permits.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, FOD, Hazmat, OSHA, AS9100, Nadcap, and company process requirements.
- Support continuous production flow by assisting and training team members as needed.
Profile
- Need workers with 5+ years of Chemical processing and Laser Scribe experience
- Selected workers will work 2nd shift primarily. However, must be ready to work any shift/OT/weekends as needed
- Must be able to stand and work for entire 8 hr. shift
- Must be able to start within 2 weeks after offer acceptance
- Must clear the background checks
- Need to do Boeing re-hire checks before offer acceptance if your candidate was a former Boeing worker
