Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot evaporators, heat exchangers & liquid ammonia transfer pumps, purging system, pump-out system, circulation pumps, makeup equipment, valves & condensers.
- Maintenance and repair of compressed air systems.
- Monitoring of glycol system.
- Water treatment including but not limited to: chemical testing, RO system operations and de-aeration system operation and maintenance.
- Boiler system maintenance, including pump/motor replacement & alignment.
- Required involvement in Emergency Response Team.
Minimum Qualifications
- HVAC or equivalent degree from a technical school or college or 3 years equivalent experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems and components or boiler operation.
- Able to work well with others in a team environment.
- Able to complete confined space training.
- Successfully pass respirator fit testing.
