Process Improvement Specialist

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand current processes and assemble, create, and maintain detailed process maps.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes using data analysis to spot trends and patterns.
- Build cross-functional teams for end-to-end analyses to account for upstream/downstream impacts.
- Develop and implement process improvements with department stakeholders to increase efficiency, optimize workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Create work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in implementing an employee-driven, enterprise-wide Process Improvement program and develop a TAS process-map standard.
- Develop training modules and materials tailored to specific processes, conduct interactive training sessions, and identify and train Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in each functional unit.
- Assess employee performance, provide feedback to management, and develop recommended training curriculums for each department.
- Update training materials based on process changes or improvements and maintain records of training activities and employee progress.
- Monitor the impact of process changes, facilitate process improvement workshops, and assist in developing metrics and dashboards.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, or related roles.
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM.

Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Work Environment
- Position is 80% to 95% desk-based, working with a computer.
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and perform activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions.
- Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception, and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading.
- Subject to inside environmental conditions.
