Process Improvement Manager
About the role
The Process Improvement Manager (PIM) is responsible for establishing an operating environment that embraces continuous improvement processes. They lead facility efforts in quality through management of all quality systems, facilitate the plant safety committee and initiatives, and support safety initiatives such as safety audits, incident investigations, and safety orientation for new hires.
Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment of a continuous improvement environment
- Manage and implement high-performance work systems and teams
- Support the plant safety team and safety initiatives
- Understand and comply with OHSA/EPA regulations
- Manage internal auditing processes
- Maintain knowledge of customer-specific quality testing, expectations, and requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in corrugated or converting environments
- Knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and managing high-performance work systems and teams
