Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction to assigned engineers.
- Conduct construction document reviews as required.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate process / mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team / design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.
- Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development.
- Demonstrate design experience in areas such as but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design.
- Generate and review the accuracy of design / evaluation calculations, and specifications.
- Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and 15+ years of relevant (Nuclear experience preferred) experience.
- (Only BS Degrees in Chemical Engineering will be accepted)
- To be considered, you MUST be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
- Experience with design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
- Must have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
