Responsibilities

  • Optimize dip molding processes and polymer materials for medical-grade catheters.
  • Integrate advanced dip-coating/molding equipment and biocompatible elastomer/thermoplastic material capabilities to meet target specifications for vascular surgical catheters.
  • Lead the end-to-end development, tooling design, and scale-up of dip molding manufacturing lines for catheters, including mandrel design, polymer rheology management, curing/drying profile optimization, and automated stripping systems.
  • Drive improvements in production yields by specializing in the optimization of dip molding processes and polymer material science.

Requirements

  • BS in Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in process engineering or related field.
  • Experience with statistical process control and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of biocompatible elastomer and thermoplastic materials.
  • Experience with dip molding processes and polymer materials for medical applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
