About the role

This Process Engineer opportunity is ideal for an experienced manufacturing professional looking to influence plant performance through process optimization, reliability engineering, and project leadership. The role combines hands-on technical support with strategic improvement initiatives, helping to enhance equipment performance, safety, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement and equipment reliability initiatives across manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve plant performance.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Manage capital and operational projects from concept through execution.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and external stakeholders on improvement activities.
  • Analyze operational data and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support asset management and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance while promoting a strong safety culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
  • Background in process optimization, reliability engineering, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems, reliability methodologies, or heavy manufacturing processes would be advantageous.
