Process Engineer - DMG (Diamond Material Growth)
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains process documentation, work instructions, and engineering records.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, quality, safety, and productivity.
- Collaborates with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to address manufacturing challenges.
- Participates in DOE activities and process improvement projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Prepares technical summaries, reports, and presentations as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, materials, science, or Physics field required.
- 0–1 years of related engineering, manufacturing, research, internship, or co-op experience preferred.
- Semiconductor, vacuum systems, materials processing, or advanced manufacturing experience preferred.
- Exposure to statistical analysis or process improvement methodologies preferred.
Skills & Other Requirements
- Basic understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles.
- Ability to learn and apply statistical and quality tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and equipment.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Extended periods of sitting or standing. Able to lift to 50 lbs. regularly. Able to perform physical tasks in various positions: standing, crouching, kneeling, reaching. Some travel required.
