Process Engineer

About the role

The Process Engineer role involves collaborating with innovative 3Mers around the world to commission, qualify, and support assembly for SCBA products. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up and qualify new products, lead continuous improvement projects in a Lean Manufacturing environment, and lead programs to improve product and process understanding with emphasis on statistical techniques. Additionally, you will determine and implement capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, qualifying, and supporting assembly for SCBA products.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale up and qualify new products.
• Leading continuous improvement projects in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Leading programs to improve product and process understanding (PPU) with emphasis on statistical techniques.
• Determining and implementing capital improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start).
• Additional qualifications that could help include: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution, experience in project management, experience working with Lean Manufacturing concepts/practices, demonstrated experience participating on cross-functional teams, flexibility to provide support across different shifts of manufacturing operations as needed, engineering co-op or internship experience, self-starter/self-directed that leads with high energy and passion.

Pay & Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is $98,964 - $120,957, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
