Duties And Responablities
- Utilize MES software to monitor, track, and analyze manufacturing processes, production data, and key performance indicators.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase production efficiency, quality, throughput, and cost effectiveness.
- Analyze production data and identify trends, bottlenecks, downtime, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to improve manufacturing processes and resolve recurring issues.
- Monitor production metrics and develop reports to communicate performance, trends, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
- Assist with process validation, equipment optimization, production trials, and new product/process implementation.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, waste, downtime, labor costs, and overall manufacturing expenses.
- Ensure processes comply with company quality, safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Support capital projects and equipment improvements as needed.
- Train and support production personnel on updated processes, procedures, and manufacturing systems.
Experience And Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of process or manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience utilizing MES software in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production data and identify trends.
- Experience with process improvement, root-cause analysis, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data-analysis tools.
- Able to work effectively with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
