Process Development Technician

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay: $30–35/hour

About the role

This is a direct-hire position that is approximately 75% product-focused and 25% equipment-focused. You will work closely with engineering teams to support product testing, pilot line development, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Support product development testing, including DV-level testing activities.
• Assist with testing components and assemblies, documenting results, and capturing photos for analysis and reporting.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and support day-to-day operational issues.
• Partner with operators and engineers to gather feedback and improve pilot line performance.
• Support the build-out and optimization of pilot manufacturing lines.
• Assist with process validation, data collection, and test execution.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or related vocational/apprenticeship, or 4–6 years of equivalent industry experience.
• Exposure to medical device, electromechanical products, molding, dipping, or assembly operations preferred.
• Experience supporting product testing, process development, or manufacturing engineering activities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document test results effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced R&D and manufacturing setting.
