Process Development Scientist

Job Summary We are seeking a Process Development Scientist to support early clinical development of oral drug products, focusing on formulation and process development for platform immediate-release (IR) tablets and enabling formulations such as amorphous solid dispersions (ASDs). In this hands-on laboratory role, you will develop and optimize formulations, conduct material characterization studies, and support GMP manufacturing of enabling formulations. You will collaborate across various functions including drug substance, regulatory, supply chain, and external partners to ensure successful development and transfer of processes. Qualifications Include Doctorate or Master’s with relevant experience, or Bachelor’s with extensive experience. Preferred experience in GMP manufacturing of ASDs via hot-melt extrusion or spray drying, as well as tablet compression and troubleshooting GMP processes. Background in pharmaceutical sciences, materials science, or bioengineering. Ability to support FIH drug development, prepare regulatory documentation, and work with contract manufacturing organizations.Skills required:** strong communication, collaboration, knowledge of material science, and experience with biopharmaceutics modeling tools.
