Responsibilities
- Study execution at bench-scale and pilot-scale related to manufacturing support and process transfer projects.
- cGMP documentation, data review, and writing technical documents.
- Perform protein purification techniques including precipitation, chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration, and filtration.
- Analyze and interpret analytical results.
- Author study protocols and reports with strong technical writing skills.

- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Qualifications
- Relevant field degree (Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Biology) with a minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's degree and 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in protein purification techniques at bench-scale and/or pilot scale processes.
- Directly related education and experience may be considered in place of the stated requirements.
Work Environment
- Laboratory and pilot-scale production environment.
- Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms.
- Exposure to electrical office equipment.
- Exposure to chemicals.
- Required personal protective equipment includes protective eyewear, garments, and gloves.
- Frequent sitting and bending neck for 4-6 hours per day.
- Occasional standing and twisting neck for 2-4 hours per day.
- Occasional walking, bending, twisting waist, and squatting.
- Moderate lifting of 25-50 lbs.
- Occasional reaching above and below shoulder height.
