Responsibilities

• Performs routine daily quality control checks at all points in the production cycle to ensure final product specifications are met.
• Reports variations and items out of specification to the production supervisor.
• Operates testing equipment and computer programs to accomplish necessary checks and calculations.
• Prepares and maintains quality control and process reports as required.
• Directs personnel to ensure compliance with company rules, policies, and procedures.
• Assumes temporary responsibility for the plant in the absence of a supervisor in the event of an emergency.
• Responsible for maintaining lab equipment and good housekeeping within the color plant lab.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Demonstrates math and analytical ability.
• Possesses the necessary skills to operate testing equipment and computer programs.
• Must be able to interact with hourly and salaried personnel.
• A working knowledge of the plant and the relationship to quality and process controls is essential.
• High school diploma required; education and/or experience in engineering or a science background desired.
• Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer-sponsored visa (work permit).

Schedule

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (flexible to work overtime and weekends).

Pay

Base hourly rate: $41.27. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, education, and qualifications.
