Responsibilities
- Performs routine daily quality control checks at all points in the production cycle to ensure final product specifications are met.
- Reports variations and items out of specification to the production supervisor.
- Operates testing equipment and computer programs to accomplish necessary checks and calculations.
- Prepares and maintains quality control and process reports as required.
- Directs personnel to ensure compliance with company rules, policies, and procedures.
- Assumes temporary responsibility for the plant in the absence of a supervisor in the event of an emergency.
- Responsible for maintaining lab equipment and good housekeeping within the color plant lab.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Demonstrates math and analytical ability.
- Possesses the necessary skills to operate testing equipment and computer programs.
- Must be able to interact with hourly and salaried personnel.
- A working knowledge of the plant and the relationship to quality and process controls is essential.
- High school diploma required; education and/or experience in engineering or a science background desired.
- Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer-sponsored visa (work permit).

Schedule
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (flexible to work overtime and weekends).
Pay
Base hourly rate: $41.27. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, education, and qualifications.
