Process Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Aid production, production engineering, and service functions in enhancing changeovers and job efficiency/cost through the use of statistical tools (SPC, DOE, R&R)
• Offer technical support to the operation during your shift
• Create analytical reports for management that highlight observations and document production needs
• Train and guide employees to boost productivity and quality improvement
• Utilize quality specifications, standards, and related instruments to test/verify physical and visual characteristics of the production process and devise solutions that improve the process

Requirements

• Associate degree in a relevant discipline required (Quality, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.)
• One to two years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong communication and technical report writing skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
• Ability to work hands-on in a multifaceted environment
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT), preferred
• Proficiency in Minitab or other SPC software, preferred
