Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on process control systems, and accurately document results, maintenance activities, and system adjustments in Monthly Reports and SAP.
- Monitor system uptime and performance.
- Support the installation, reliability, and verification of sensors and instruments.
- Support continuous improvement and long-term reliability of existing and new process control systems implemented in the mill’s Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Quality Control Systems (QCS).
- Respond to DCS/QCS-related alarms and process issues in collaboration with operators and process control engineers.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to support off-hours reliability
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a related field, OR 5 years of process controls experience.
- Exposure to industrial automation or process control systems.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word (document creation), Excel (spreadsheets), and Outlook (email and calendar).
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
