About the role
Drive continuous improvement in business processes, archiving, systems, SOPs, and official issuances that enhance efficiency and knowledge retention for NGB ExecSec and ARNG offices. This specialized role combines analytical rigor with practical recommendations that directly support higher-quality staff actions, improved workflow consistency, and reduced manual effort.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes with emphasis on improving system archiving capabilities, business practices, output requirements, formats, and templates.
- Assist with updating NGB issuances, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Evaluate system capabilities and recommend or design modifications to improve usability, efficiency, and knowledge retention.
- Support the "staff decoder ring," workflow standardization, and quality control of responses that capture leadership decisions.
- Provide technical writing and process documentation support for ARNG staff actions and training materials.
- Collaborate with teams to implement improvements that increase efficiency while maintaining full compliance with security, CUI, and performance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in business process analysis, systems analysis, policy/issuance management, or workflow improvement in government or complex organizational settings.
- Strong skills in process mapping, documentation, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with task management, workflow management, or collaboration tools.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and facilitation abilities.
- Strong attention to regulatory, security, and compliance details.
- Active Top Secret clearance or current TS/SCI eligibility.
- Ability to complete CAC, background investigation, and required training requirements, including OPSEC, IA, and related requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NGB, ARNG, or ANG staff action or publications processes.
- Background in knowledge management, archiving systems, or continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Prior experience supporting classified environments or official issuance/manual processes.
