About the Opportunity
The Process Analyst role is responsible for analyzing and improving business and operational processes that support technology initiatives and enterprise operations within a regulated healthcare environment. This position drives process standardization, scalability, compliance, and technology adoption, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. It collaborates with various teams to optimize workflows and supports project delivery and change management efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery efforts to document current workflows across clinical, operational, and administrative areas.
- Facilitate interviews and workshops with subject matter experts.
- Create clear process documentation including maps and narratives.
- Maintain standardized process documentation repository.
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risks in processes.
- Design future-state processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
- Evaluate impacts of new systems and integrations on processes.
- Support process standardization across regions, sites, and functions.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Business Analysts to integrate processes into project delivery.
- Assess process complexity and readiness during project intake.
- Provide input for requirements definition, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure alignment with PMO methodologies and governance.
- Identify process changes affecting roles and workflows.
- Support change management through impact documentation and adoption planning.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Capture lessons learned and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process analysis or improvement.
- Proven ability to map and analyze complex, cross-functional workflows.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and documentation skills.
- Experience in healthcare or regulated environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with healthcare operations, clinical workflows, revenue cycle processes, Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, PMO governance, and technology implementations.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Salary range from $78,300 to $97,000, commensurate with experience.
