100% FTE, Monday - Friday, typically 8-hour shifts during business hours. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at the Digestive Health Center in Madison, WI.

About the role

Be part of something remarkable and bring your nursing expertise to the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Procedure/Surgical Services Supervisor to:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations and coordination of patient care services.
  • Promote staff continuing education and evidence-based practice.
  • Facilitate communication, coordination, and collaboration among disciplines regarding identification, planning, and provision of high-quality, cost-effective care.
  • Utilize strong professional communication and collaboration skills to provide constructive feedback, resolve conflicts, train/mentor staff, and resolve patient concerns.
  • Perform procedures, moderate sedation, critical thinking, and manage overall flow.
  • Be an effective member of the Endoscopy management team, fostering a customer/patient-focused perspective and ensuring a strong commitment to organizational service standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree of Science in Nursing Required
  • Master of Science in Nursing or relevant field Preferred
  • 2 years of relevant nursing experience Required
  • Evidence of leadership experience Required
  • 5 years of relevant experience in clinical practice Preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated success Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification Required
  • Current ACLS Certification Required
