Procedure Scheduler

About the role

Regulates and maintains patient appointment schedules for interventional radiology, diagnostic imaging, and special procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• 2 years of recent experience

Skills and Knowledge

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Intermediate computer skills (keyboarding, mouse movement, data entry, scheduling programs)
• Verbal and written communication skills for frequent and challenging contact with physicians, employees, patients, and patient families; requires patience and compassion
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to complete assignments within the time allotted and maintain standard workflow
• Ability to work cooperatively in a flexible team environment
• Ability to maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions
• Active listening skills, including strong interpersonal and telephone communication
• Applies moderate mental application and concentration to handle multiple procedures and interruptions throughout the day

Schedule

• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Day shift: 8 hours, Monday through Friday
• No weekend requirements

Pay

Pay range varies by geographic location:

• General pay range: $24.64 to $34.49 per hour
• State A pay range: $28.70 to $31.57 per hour
• State B pay range: $26.10 to $28.70 per hour

Total compensation considers experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program.
