About the role
Cancer Care Northwest is celebrating its 50th year of providing comprehensive, innovative, compassionate, and integrated care for cancer and blood-related diseases. The organization is seeking a full-time Radiation Scheduler to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Answers incoming calls and directs calls to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Serves as a liaison between patients and medical staff.
- Schedules outpatient appointments, referrals, testing, hospital surgeries, and hospital admissions upon request.
- Obtains necessary pre-certification as required.
- Schedules return appointments in the computer system in accordance with physician and/or office guidelines.
- Handles new patient referrals, gathers necessary information, registers new patients in the computer, and schedules appointments.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or a General Education Degree.
- Five (5) years' office experience.
- Prior medical office experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Skills
- Proficiency in computer systems, particularly scheduling software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling.

Pay
Salary is DOE ($22.33 - $31.27 per hour).
