About the role

Cancer Care Northwest is celebrating its 50th year of providing comprehensive, innovative, compassionate, and integrated care for cancer and blood-related diseases. The organization is seeking a full-time Radiation Scheduler to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls and directs calls to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Serves as a liaison between patients and medical staff.
• Schedules outpatient appointments, referrals, testing, hospital surgeries, and hospital admissions upon request.
• Obtains necessary pre-certification as required.
• Schedules return appointments in the computer system in accordance with physician and/or office guidelines.
• Handles new patient referrals, gathers necessary information, registers new patients in the computer, and schedules appointments.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or a General Education Degree.
• Five (5) years' office experience.
• Prior medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Skills

• Proficiency in computer systems, particularly scheduling software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling.

Pay

Salary is DOE ($22.33 - $31.27 per hour).
