Pro Shop/Cart Attendant

Key Responsibilities

• Continually monitors, implements, and adheres to all company goals, policies, procedures, and controls
• Affords assistance to golf professionals with checking in golfers and maintains a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play
• Affords assistance with receiving merchandise and adheres to purchase order procedures
• Affords assistance with the rotation of shop displays
• Begins bringing carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns them to the cart barn at the end of the day
• Cleans, fuels, and checks carts after each use
• Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times
• Receives and communicates complaints to the Pro Shop
• Works closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments
• Maintains an organized stock room and affords assistance to the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness
• Affords assistance with pricing of merchandise
• Affords assistance with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels
• Performs other duties as requested by the Head Professional
• Provides service in any and every way; goes the extra mile to provide the standard of service guests expect

Experience/Education/Certification Requirements

• High school education or its equivalent
• Must be able to fluently speak and write English

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to waist height
• Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to operate a golf cart safely
• Normal vision and hearing required
