Pro Shop Attendant

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist golfers and visitors with their needs, providing a high level of customer service.
• Sell golf equipment, apparel, accessories, and other merchandise in the Pro Shop, ensuring an organized and inviting sales floor.
• Aid with tee-time reservations, check-in golfers, and maintain accurate records for rounds played.
• Afford assistance with stocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels, and keeping the shop properly organized and clean.
• Process transactions for tee times, golf carts, rental clubs, other equipment, and products, accurately tracking rentals and communicating with supervisors and outside staff.
• Afford support with organizing and managing golf tournaments and events, including checking in participants, assisting with scoring, and providing event materials.
• Afford accurate processing of sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit card payments, and receipts.
• Maintain knowledge of golf products, services, and promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers.
• Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and assist with other duties assigned by the Professional Golf Staff as needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a golf-related environment.
• Passion for golf and knowledge of golf equipment and apparel is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
