Pro Shop Attendant - Golf
Essential Job Functions
- Greet customers and provide information about the golf course and park
- Process sales transactions, including golf rounds and merchandise sales
- Restock and display merchandise in the pro shop
- Manage reservations and tee times using the booking system
- Answer phones and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Keep the pro shop clean and organized
- Aid with tournament operations
- Maintain inventory levels and communicate reordering needs
- Support concession and bar operations including setup, restocking, cash handling, and cleanup
Ancillary Job Functions
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel
- Comply with all City ordinances, policies, and relevant state and federal laws
- Assist other departments as needed, contributing to the overall success of municipal operations
Work Environment
- General office conditions and moderate noise levels
Physical Abilities
- Sitting, Standing and Dexterity: The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and standing, as well as repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movement
- Manual Coordination: Precise hand-eye coordination is necessary for tasks related to golf operations and equipment handling
- Lifting: The ability to lift up to 25 pounds is required
