Pro Shop Attendant

About the role

The Meadows at Middlesex, located in Plainsboro, NJ, is seeking a driven individual to serve as a Pro Shop Attendant. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced hospitality-focused property within Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Inside staff duties: Perform clerk/cashier duties, process customer reservations, provide customer service for guest check-ins, arrange and display golf shop inventory, collect green and cart fees, maintain a clean and safe workplace, assist in cash reconciliation, secure the property daily, assist with equipment and golf cart set-up.
• Outside staff duties: Welcome and greet guests, explain rules and course etiquette, wash and sanitize the golf cart fleet, maintain organized storage areas and practice facility, assist with golf cart and equipment set-up for tee times or outings, facilitate orderly pace of play, answer guest questions, record starting times and golf cart numbers, ensure groups have four players when possible, pick up and clean practice balls, secure the property daily.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Coachable with basic computer skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred

Pay

$16.00 - $16.50 per hour
