About the role
The fellowship is designed for individuals committed to public interest law, focusing on immigration representation through The Legal Aid Society of New York. Fellows will work closely with the Hunton Litigation Team and mentor with lawyers at the firm.
Responsibilities
- Representing immigration clients through The Legal Aid Society of New York
- Mentoring and partnering with lawyers in the firm's New York office on pro bono cases
Requirements
- Admission to the New York State Bar by September 2026
- Prior experience representing immigration clients preferred
- Spanish language proficiency required
