About the role

K2 Medical Research is seeking RNs, LPNs, and Paramedics for part-time PRN support at our clinic in The Villages, FL. PRNs will promote Good Clinical Practice while supporting a variety of responsibilities across multiple clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Insert and maintain IV lines and care for patients receiving therapy
• Establish IV access and administer investigational product
• Monitor patients to ensure safety
• Support all nurse functions in the Infusion suite, including addressing patient concerns and needs during their stay
• Assist Principal Investigators and Clinical Research Coordinators with trial-related procedures such as lumbar punctures, lab collections, and EKGs
• Assess patient tolerance to investigational product and ensure absence of infusion reactions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid and unencumbered Florida license as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Paramedic
• Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting; preference for clinical research or related field
