Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech therapy services in various clinical settings. The role involves conducting evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and re-assessing patient progress. The therapist explains findings to patients and families, incorporates them into goal setting, and collaborates with healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and re-assess patient progress
• Explain findings to patients and families and incorporate them into goal setting
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Handle documentation, discharge planning, and follow-up care, ensuring timely and accurate records of patient progress
• Demonstrate proficiency in treatment protocols, recognize patient condition changes, and adjust plans accordingly
• Practice effective time management, professionalism, and flexibility to ensure patient access to care
• Pursue continuing education
• Serve as a clinical instructor and mentor new staff and students

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY)
• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in relevant jurisdictions
• American Speech-Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
