About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join Henrico Doctors' Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical management of patients
- Ensure satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians, and staff) while upholding ICARE values
- Participate in and understand Quality Management activities
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Understand and comply with hospital and departmental policies and procedures
- Promote cost-effective unit operations
- Document care using appropriate tools
- Maintain clinical competencies and pursue professional growth and development
- Comply with professional, regulatory, governmental, and departmental standards
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy from a CAA-accredited school
- ASHA certification
- AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Virginia
- Previous experience in an acute care facility preferred; new graduates will be considered
