About the role

We are looking for a mid-level to senior Software Engineer to join our distributed team and help us design, implement, and maintain high-performance microservices that power our core platform. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Optimize database queries and application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement monitoring and alerting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Python, Java, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

$120,000 – $160,000 base salary, plus equity and performance bonuses.
