PRN RN – Emergency Department

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years recent experience in an acute care setting.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Critical Care/Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within one year of hire.
• Completion of Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) upon hire or within 24 months of beginning work in the Emergency Department.

Pay

Pay Range Minimum hourly: $43.00 Maximum hourly: $43.00

Schedule

This position offers variable shifts and requires working 48 hours within a six-week period.
