About the role
This position involves performing patient assessments, administering general respiratory care procedures, conducting arterial blood gas punctures and analyses, managing and maintaining respiratory equipment, and providing patient education.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Care Sciences (required) or no degree required
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the state of Georgia (required upon hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required upon hire)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 30 days)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required within 60 days)
Experience
No previous work experience required.

- Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures, equipment management, and patient education
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Adherence to certification requirements
