About the role
As a PRN Respiratory Therapist, you will assess respiratory status, deliver evidence-based therapy, manage ventilation and airways, support patients and the care team, and maintain equipment and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic respiratory exams
- Administer oxygen and aerosolized treatments
- Assist with airway placement
- Initiate and adjust mechanical ventilation
- Respond to clinical changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care
- Ensure equipment readiness and infection control
Qualifications
- NBRC-RRT certification
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (BLS/ACLS) certifications
- State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- No prior experience required
