PRN Registrar

About the role

Accurately enter patient information into the registration system, perform quality control checks on registration data, and assist patients in completing necessary registration. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Collect co-pays and other payments from patients. Be receptive to feedback and strive for continuous improvement while remaining flexible and adaptable to change.

Requirements

• One year of clerical experience and six months of healthcare experience
• Preferred experience in medical office, insurance, hospital, or computer systems
• Keyboard skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
• Expertise in customer relations, telephone skills, and computer applications
• High school education or equivalent
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Six months of clerical and customer service experience
• Some computer experience
• Medical and insurance experience
