PRN Registered Nurse (RN) - Chapel Hill, NC

About the role

BlueDot Cares, a premier home care provider, seeks a PRN Nurse to join their team in Chapel Hill, NC. The PRN Nurse will deliver high-quality care to clients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' healthcare needs, collaborating with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans.
• Create and update care plans based on the evolving needs of clients.
• Perform 90 day follow-ups on all active clients.
• Participate in new caregiver orientation.
• Help evaluate caregiver competencies.
• Maintain monitoring and observation of clients' health status, recognizing any changes and promptly reporting concerns to the healthcare team.
• Provide ongoing observation to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Offer education and support to clients and their families on health management, preventive care, and self-care techniques.
• Document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists and care coordinators, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance overall care quality.

Requirements

• Current and valid nursing license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on home care or a related healthcare setting.
• Home care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to a variety of patient needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
